Its beaches offer a wide variety of sea and weather conditions from the north to south of the country attracting all kinds of kiters and surfers, from those who are just beginning to the most experienced.

In addition to the wonderful natural environment, this Caribbean destination offers a great diversity of beaches: breakers with right and left waves and options for all tastes: beach break, point break and reef break. This variety guarantees everyone enjoys the destination regardless of the level.

PUERTO PLATA

Puerto Plata’s region is a true ecological paradise. Its warm waters and wind variations have made it known worldwide as one of the best destinations to practice water sports such as surfing, kiting, and windsurfing. It is because of these excellent conditions that Puerto Plata hosts many international competitions.

Surfers will be able to surf both in the emblematic Malecón and in the renowned town of Cabarete, also known for its lively nightlife with bars and discos. Playa Encuentro, the most popular spot in the country 5 minutes from Cabarete, is a favorite for local surfers. A spot consisting of a long white sand beach with a wide variety of waves, including powerful tube reefs.

For kiting, this is THE SPOT for those who seek the best wind conditions. Dominic Republic offers flatwater for freestylers, swells for those who prefer kiting through waves and great conditions for hydrofoil. Cabarete in the North Coast is “la meca” for Kitesurf and convenes kiters from all over the world.

YOGA LESSONS

These practices are focused on stretching those muscles used for kiteboarding and surfing and will give your body and mind the strength to practice your balance. Our yoga teacher will adapt the lesson to each one of you depending on your previous yoga experience.

WAVE SOUL HOUSE (located in Cabarete)

At Wave Soul retreat’s, you will enjoy our peaceful house and have the opportunity of relaxing moments in your private room as well as common areas such as the living rooms, garden and swimming pool area.

The house is divided into three individual private apartments each of which has its own kitchen and private areas. There is an apartment with one bedroom and two apartments with two bedrooms each. All apartments have A/C.

All bedrooms are decorated in a fresh ocean style and we provide sheets and towels. Housekeeping is included as well as free WiFi internet in all areas.
